Revisiting the browser wars

I know this has been the topic of a couple recent threads, but it seemed worth revisiting. Now even the US Gov. is recommending people steer clear of IE, or at least disable Scripting and ActiveX.

I know some folks love their IE, but it would seem prudent to at least do your security-sensitive browsing [ banking, bill pay,etc...] with Mozilla or Firefox. You can easily import all your IE Favorites right into either of them. Hopefully MS will come up with some sort of patch soon, maybe when they're through playing with their new search engine[ which crashes, I hear]like we needed another Google knock-off.
