It corrects errors in the skin. Updating is up to you.

Actually, that section is a little more complicated than that. It is up to you to correct the errors that the Analyze section found. A lot of time an image might be in the wrong place. Or, a attribute wrongly named or set. If you just delete the code, you can really mess up the skin. It is sort of like working with a registry fix program. If you just delete the mis-referenced code, you can really screw up your registry. For example if your registry says run32.dll doesn't exist. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It just means it doesn't exist where defined in the registry. If you incorrectly correct it and just delete, your computer will crash completely. The same applies to fixing skin studio errors. I can give you another example, specifically for a skin studio skin error. Let me find one.

Okay well, here is the way I went about fixing the errors. Backup the original skin. Then fix all the errors that you can with skin studio. Save and reapply the skin. Then, look at it with the skin errors fixed. Open windows, check the start menu. See if everything is still lined up right and all the pieces present. If they are not, then you have to find out which error was incorrectly fixed. If you have a tab image missing, or misaligned, then erase the fixed skin, reload the original, and look at the error associated with the tabs. It can be a bit tricky fixing all the errors. But, I've done it on my skins.

Also, when I checked that section, it did offer to update the skin for me.
