..how many people here [wallpaper makers, in general] use their OWN work most of the time? haha..


.. I certainly do. I use other people's too, but it seems not nearly as much as my own. I'd like to think it's just me "testin' them out" and not vanity.

I use most of mine...though there are some pieces by others that i have to use cause they are sooo cool!!!

I used to use my work all the time, but now I'm sorta taking a bit of a skinning break with being so busy with work and stuff. Now I use other cool looking stuff. (mac stuff! )

With Litestep I almost always use my own.....part of the reality of personalizing your interface to your own design preferences, where your own works will be closer to your own 'ideal.

Wallpapers are more likely to be from others, with no particular favourite author.

Windowblinds....mostly those from the more 'proficient', rather than my own, particularly when using Explorer as the shell, since I've never 'bothered' with Taskbars, etc in my own as they were specifically created for LS which has no Explorer taskbar, etc....

Use my own most of the time, however when looking for inspiration to start making a new one I will switch to rotating a collection of my favorite skins made by others.
