I'd like to have a direct hyperlink so that I don't get accused of plagiarism here, but I don't know how to set up a hyperlink on this forum. Any suggestions? I know plenty of people have done it before.

On a side note, if y'all are recruiting, I like the look of your empire so far. You're small enough to where one player isn't going to be lost in a crowd of Hobbits, pirates or MWCers, and I like the idea of being able to make some kind of impact. I'll have Game 5 (Painful, Large) in sometime tonight if those pesky Arceans just finally roll over and die. If you're interested, I'd like to sign on - let me know.

P.S. If the logo debate is still open, how about the hex-shaped "crosshair" logo that's been identified with both the Old Republic and the Empire? It shows up on the helmets of TIE pilots and Death Star gunners in the old movies, as well as the Clone Troopers in Episode II (I think).

OK, I'm in, and that just boosted The Republic - er, I mean US - over Gamma Squad and into 8th. Truly, it is sad to see the Old Order fade, but progress marches on.

I will chew on ideas for a new nick - somehow mine doesn't really fit the Imperial theme.

How about that logo? I use Corel and Photoshop on a regular basis, and would be happy to help out.

I'm off to the Outer Rim Territories to finish off the current game - I could use a nice, shiny medal or two. May the Force be with you, comrades.

I'm in Harrisburg, PA right now, but originally from Wayne, NE.

It is right there in the downloads section. Even someone with a slow dial-up can get it in a reasonable amount of time. Any valid serial number will do. So even someone who bought a used game can still get it. This leaves two possibilities: One, the person lost the CD case and no longer has the number. Or, more likely, two, they do not have a legit copy. I may be pirate in Galciv, but I do not like software pirates.

Tell them to contact stardock. I believe the patch that you DL will only work with your Serial, so it won't help anybody.
