Greetings, fellow Jedi. I am Cadrys, hailing from the rainy lands of the NorthWest sector. Many long hours, days, weeks have been spent learning the ways of the four-eks, and now I find myself at what appears to be the ultimate expression...this thing we call "GalCiv". (and, my, how different it is from the long-ago days of OS/2...)

Aside from occasional moments of weakness (+49% starship? How can I say "no" to THAT?) I play the side of Light, and I have been slowly working my way up the difficulty levels, finding my balance of 'happy play' and 'challenge'.

(Total side note : why doesn't the stardock program let me apply the latest patch?)

(Total side note: try to refresh the page, right cliuck in the subtitle software at the Stardock page and click on refresh, it that doesnot do the trick, click in the tool bar in the word tools and click on check for application updates, that should work.)

No joy on the right-click options. I'm registered properly, but the 'update' option is greyed out, and I don't see anything beyond 1.10A and the expansion pack. Was I supposed to pay _extra_ to get patches?

Thanks Alex, Cadrys, you don't suppose to pay anything, I don't know what else could be wrong, the only thing would be to go to the top toolbar and click on tools and click on check for application upadtes, also try to refresh the page, because I had the same problem, but after I refresh the page the cookies got updated, mine were set for the old 1.10A version, so until I refresh the screen and then clicked in the tools to download the applications update the new patch didn't show up.

Problem solved--the "California" server wasn't updating anything, just the "Atlanta" server. As soon as I flipped servers, everything updated. Thanks for the help!
