Good/Evil Exclusive Techs + Smuggling question

First of all I've seen several lists, some include smuggling as a tech and some don't. Can you get it? I'm guessing it's one of the evil exclusive techs which leads to my second question.

Does anyone know the techs that you have to be good or evil to research?

I believe "Smuggling" is a mod exclusive to those of evil alignment. You can probably find it in the Mods section or over at CDG: http://www.cdgroup.org/forums/site/main/portal.php

Actually I found smuggling from JavaScout's tech tree..which is what confused me. :notsure:

Ahh thanks I must have missed it the first time. :)

Do you happen to know with alignments though what margin of error you have?

For example HyperSoldiers I never saw in my last game but did a tech victory. JavaScout says alignment 45 to get it and I was 49 for quite a while and possibly below that. :notsure:

If the Alignment requirement is below 50, then your Alignment must be equal to or less than the requirement.

If the Alignment requirement is above 50, then your Alignment must be equal to or greater than the requirement.

49 would not qualify you for HyperSoldiers at 45.
