Widget position on desktop

Is their some reason that the widgets(with the new version) don't remember their position on your desktop(when you shut down and restart) like regular DX objects and widgets made with the older version.

On a similar subject, I seem to be losing the positions of my icons. Each time I reboot they seem to lose their positions and end up in a random arrangement on the desktop. I've tried saving the iconX theme and desktopX theme after resetting them, but sure enough, they aren't where I put them after I reboot.

It a bit of a nuisance!

I have a similar problem and half the time I just unload DesktopX altogether. Problems like you said, the items, after reboot, are either in different places or gone completely. I go into DX to try to reload the Widget and a message pops up stating "I am already using an item with that ID and need to change that ID or not install this object or it will not work properly".
I tried to load the Object Snowman (My Documents) and after I did, I right clicked on him, he flew off my desktop to the very top left corner of my screen and I haven't seen him since, nor can I reload him.
The Object RealSnow Snowman doesn't work either. I want a blizard and no matter the settings, it looks like 15 snowflakes fall and that's it.
I restart my pc severl times a day for different reasons and DesktopX is becoming more of a chore than it's worth.
