It gives me great pleasure to Announce that the reconciliation and merger of the ANZACs and The Australian Republic is now Complete, NeverNever has signed all the merger Documentation and it has been Accepted by all those in the Australian Republic. The Documentation Signing was witnesed by many other Citizens of the Metaverse. It's like a who's who of the metaverse here tonight.

We still havn't decided on a flag but we are sure that we will come to a solution soon

It is a tremendous honour to be the emperor who has successfully inspired, negotiated and signed with the emperor of the Australian Republic this historic Document to bring the whole of Old Australia and NewZealand back together. {BlueSteel Shakes the Hand of Never Never for the press to take a photo)

Let the Celebrations Begin.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. I think I might stay around for a while as the Fellowship is not currently in striking distance of GROSS and the MWC does not pose an immediate threat.

The most fun time in the Metaverse for me was when we were battling various other empires, so thanks for the welcome. It's just much more interesting when it seems like my games mattered... awhile ago we were going to try a war of the worlds, but it never really got off the ground.

I'm a veteran of many battles with the MWC. Typically, they are quiet most of the time, but they respond to challenges with what Gerraken likes to call a missile attack where they'll launch a flurry of games in a sort period. If we can withstand that, they'll lose interest again...

I know I owe Blue Steel a few games for my honorary Senatorship, but when I go back to GROSS I'd like it better if you could still hold third place. (It'll be hard to resist, you should HEAR the things GROSS offers in their ANZAC recruiting program... I am sure most of those things are illegal.) ;)

Not in ANZAC jurisdiction. Since New Zealand's legally a part of it, they had to add all the Kiwi laws when they had the original merger.

Have you heard the one about what to do with the Cormo Express (the boat with all the sheep on it)?

Send it to New Zealand, and rename it "The Love Boat".

Enjoy the vacation, Cypher. I think ANZAC can well find a way to hold onto third place even after your vacation, with Cotal now driving steadily onto a half million points and a good amount of current activity from some fellow ANZACs. MWC Strategic Missile Command still seems to be reloading most of the silos after that last fierce volley about three months ago when they drove to overtake GROSS at all costs. Unfortunately, they were not farsighted enough to see that the true threat came from the Ring worshippers. Then again, maybe it was their intention all along to at least run interference if they could not hold the top spot in order to help anyone get ahead of GROSS. The MWC can border on irrationality when it comes to their anti-pirate platform. :)

It's so very tempting to move to an empire where there are actually two lovely gamers waiting for me [grin], but I can't possibly have anything to do with a bunch of criminals and misfits. Teehee.

Seriously, empire defecting is not cool. All this jumping willy-nilly...

But your second option may be more true then you think. I might have refined my playing style so I can finish a gig-maso in 5-7 hours, but I just don't have that much free time every day, so my submittion rate is going to steady drop. Atleast my latest game secured my top25 position. Hopefully I'll post one other tommorow, then I'll take a breather.
