Ben.. with the new level, Suicidal/Obscene.. You'd better create another shield...

Ray that means you'd have to stick around for the Suicidal shield.

Wasn't "Suicidal" below "Cakewalk" way back in the early days?

If Spellforce or T-Man ask, I still have the modular artwork files for the shields...I could always drip some blood off the crossed sabers or something. :notsure:

Good morning, gang!

I had a little time last night that I didn't expect and tried another Medium/Maso. Did fairly well until I met the Torians who somehow got an incredible start and had dominated everybody else. Needless to say, I was assimilated by the fish.

Fresh off the humiliation of another Medium butt-kicking, I decided to take my frustrations out in a Small/Maso free-for-all. I declared war on the Torians on the 8th turn of the game, destroying one of their stupid colony ships with my 2/1 Survey Ship (lucky anomoalies!!). I've gone on to totally dominate the galaxy. Got really tired, though so I didn't quite finish it. I've got clown duty tonight at the circus, so I probably won't have a chance to submit for a couple more days. :notsure:

Great to see you're going to go for a Black shield, Ray!! We need all the help we can get! Don't know if anyone else has noticed, but there are a couple of silent contributors doing their part, too! Thanks dgperry and Gman Fboy for your recent help!

We've got our work cut of for us, folks. Let's try to keep SpecFor in sight!

I can't believe Ray doesn't have a black shield after writing the book on maso, I wonder how it's averaged...

Anyway, I think we should start a petition for Ray to get a former #1 medal.... I don't think it's fair for him to have to climb back up the ladder considering he did hold #1 for quite a while.

Didn't we have a thread on former #1's a while ago... perhaps we could submit that to Stardock in hopes of honoring our champions (particularly Ray).... with the exception of Jaws and Greldon - Ginata's / Tibet's perch looks pretty safe.

I've already made a plug for Ray in the New Metaverse Medals thread, but I wholeheartedly agree Stardock needs to be petitioned for a Former No. 1 for Ray.

I know of few others more worthy of the honor than the wizard who taught us all how to play Maso!

I just signed on too for Ray to get a former number one medal. If anyone deserves it, Ray does. Yea, just dropped the 60k in there a moment ago and limped back into 5th place (hard to believe I used to be 3). I will pledge another 60k game by Friday Feb 6th or before so I don't become a "dormant veteran". LOL.

Greldon and others who are submitting games, thank you so much. Although JackLEagle doesn't post, he is putting in games too. So if you read this JackLEagle, thank you.

OK everyone, only a little less than 300k behind SF. Let's go for it. When I grow up, I want a red shield like Ray and Greldon. :D

No hobbits in my string for days. I was getting lonely so I made some duplicates of the one ring and scattered them among the haystacks. Hmmm..still no hobbits....maybe if I grow some wacky weed...
