I like dark chocolate and I'm blonde, does that count? LOL

If we're going to talk about chocolate, can we also talk about coffee?  My nickname used to be "javabrain" due to the amount of coffee I consume in a day LOL I changed it because everyone assumed I was a java programmer and kept asking me programming questions.

I could teach you to program and then you could be a lover of two kinds of Java. :D

Mmmmmmmmm.... Chocolate. Dark, Semi-Sweet. Mmmmmmmmmmm.... Coffee. I'm positive that these are two of the basic food groups. I don't care what the nutritionists say. :D

Here we go with the blondes again... :notsure:

I like chocolate too, the light variety. And for drinking hot from a cup after a long day of skiing or skating. :d

Coffee - that I can relate to. Coffee (strong, intravenous), Jolt Cola, Twinkies - the standard diet of a programmer!

Kaluha, espresso, and dark chocolate syrup mixed with a splash of cream with whipped cream on top... now, that I can relate to....

And tell me - do the Stardockians jump straight to amphetamines when they're writing major new code? If this is what it takes, I volunteer to start a Narcotics Anonymous thread.... LOL :sniff!:

caffeine addiction can be adapted by the system in a variety of ways. i used to 'need' a cup of tea before going to bed. but that was in me pommy days....'broken leg, luv? well how's about a nice cup of tea...'

:)

Caffeine addiction... been there, done that! Glad I finally got away from it... it gets really old having massive headaches every time you're away from your Mt. Dew for more than a couple hours :P

Actually, most of the coders don't abuse caffeine too much (except Cari, who can't live without Mt. Dew).  I however, use it as a way of compensating for my massive sleep deficit.  I can be a bit of an insomniac.  For instance, this past week, I have *averaged* 4 hours a sleep a night.  But, it's OK, because we have free coffee here ;)  By the time Friday rolls around (today) I get a bit slap happy and start singing show tunes in my head (at least I hope it's only in my head......)
