I've managed to register galciv.org - and will host (free!) any empire websites as subdomains on that domain - eg jedirepublic.galciv.org or fotr.galciv.org - no adverts, no popups, plenty of space.

Server is a Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP box (basically RedHat Linux 7.3) with ample bandwidth.

But first decide which of the two threads to put everything into. Better yet, make a new third thread specifically designed to say it all in the title. Make it something like "Empires represented at galciv.org" and then repost the vital information about the list of pages there. Then we lobby to get that one stickied and then everything goes there instead of bumping two threads at once. Just a little suggestion on my part...

alex would it be possible to get mods.galcov.org please. hopefully i can get kyro (or someone) to make it so i can upload mods to site so people can d/l them. mods would first come to my email so that i could verify them first for stability (that i can do).

I could do mods - but would be wary about treading on the toes of the galciv library or implying that they were official...

Alex had a thought. so as not to tread on galcivs toes. could we possibly use EvilEmpireMods.galciv.org? doesnt sound like an official mods page then.

It might be better if it were a neutral site - not aligned to any empire - IMHO.
