GalCiv: Altarian Prophecy Pre-Orders

GalCiv: Altarian Prophecy Pre-Orders

Our goal by the end of the month is to have around 500 pre-orders for the expansion pack based on the polls.

Unfortunately, at the rate things are going, we won't even come close to that.

Those of you who responded positively on the poll we hope will consider pre-ordering the expansion so that we can get a better idea of how much actual interest there is in an expansion. If there isn't sufficient interest in the expansion pack we'll have to discontinue its development so that we can focus on The Political Machine (our other game project in development).

Howdy,

I will likely pick up the expansion pack, really enjoy the game; but I would prefer if you all would have a special offer in which GC owners can upgrade to Drengin.net instead.

Thanks,

Daniel

when you get drengin.net one of the statement made on the order ID page is:

It is strongly recommended that you make a backup of all files downloaded in case you need to reinstall the software at a later date. By making a backup now you will cut down on the support burden of our staff, as well as ensureing your peace of mind.

So I would say that the answer is a strong yes.

Depending on the laws in your country, it may be legal. In France it is, whatever Stardock can say.

We encourage people to put our software on CD and Stardock Central has archiving features built in.

When you buy a Stardock product, it's yours. We don't put obnoxious rules on how you can use it. We've been makign software long enough to know that the piracy paranoia is more boogeyman than reality.
