Metaverse posting problem

Hello,

I am hoping Carielf or some other denizen of the Metaverse internals could help me out with a small Metaverse problem.
It's basically just that my last two games have gone nowhere, didn't show up in my profile, didn't get me the promotion to Vice Admiral, didn't even appear as zeros. So I don't know what's going on.

I have made no changes to my profile prior to this occasion. (I did just check out my settings on Wincustomize.com and everything looked cool.) I selected the correct e-mail address from the submission dialog. And I got back the normal "Test:1 Error:0" notice each time. (I'm still on 1.10a.) I even tried re-submitting the first game about half a dozen times; never got an error. Only thing that was unusual is that normally it takes a couple of minutes to submit the scores; these times it was about 3 seconds, max.

So if somebody could poke around and see if my scores made it SOMEwhere, and then possibly even put them where they belong, that would be incredibly nifty.

I only have one explanation in my limited arsenal of Metaverse repair knowledge: you stated in another thread that you upgraded to Drengin.net recently. That would prevent you from posting new games properly until the serial number is upgraded both in SDC and your player record. Forgive me for using the handholding method if you already have done both and it doesn't work. Because if this doesn't work, I am at a loss here.

In SDC, go to Tools, Register products, make sure the games tab is clicked on the window that will open up, make sure the Application field says Game Subscription and make sure the information is correct and the new Drengin number is in the serial field. Once that is done and the form updated, it is time for the next step.

Open your own player record by clicking on your name in the forum or in the Metaverse, click on your own player name within the record and a page will open up explaining that you need to link your old serial number with the new Drengin number. Enter new Drengin.net number in the field provided and make sure that is updated. Once that happens, the two accounts will be linked and games will submit normally onto your present record.

Brilliant! Good catch on the one thing I didn't think to mention in my litany of goings-on, too (upgrading to d.net). I can't believe it didn't occur to me that I'd done that. And the precise directions were great!

Woo! I'm a vice-admiral now! :)
