wallpaper on dual monitors

Duel moniotrs

Hey everyone, im kinda new

Allright, to business. I have two seperate monitors on my desktop. The desktop is expanded from my primary one to my secondary (i can scroll from one to the other). Does anyone know how i can put one wallpaper on one monitor and another on the second one? Everytime I try it changes for both monitors. Thanks.

I don't think I was ever able to do that. But if both monitors are the same resolution, join the two wallpapers you want as one image and make that new image the wallpaper. It should show one half on one monitor and the other half on the other monitor. I always used to create my own extra wide wallpapers when I ran two monitors.

What graphics card are you using? nVIDIA has software for their cards that allow you to have seperate walls on both monitors. There's also UltraMon http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/ for multi monitor that's allows different walls, or an option to strecth a wall across both. The stretch looks pretty good with some walls, and not so great with others.

You're definitely going to need UltraMon or similar............ if you find something similar, let me know.
I'd rather be using UM, but I can't justify the price tag just yet...

How do you go back to a single monitor?

When one blows up in an electrical storm, you adjust

what bukalooka said, If your running 1280 x 1024 resolution, make the wallpaper 2560 x 1024. Whatever resolution you have, double the width but keep the height the same. Set the wallpaper to tile and you should be all set. If you want 2 seperate walls then join them like TBC said.

Well I just put both wallpapers in one file and ajusted the pixel demention as Night Train suggested. I also set the display option at tile. AT first it was off and I had one wallpaper one my primary and it went over to my secondary with it smashing up my other wallpaper. I ajusted it by adding and ajusting it and finally got it perfectly. Thanks guys. (PS, if anyone has this problem and wants to use my wallpaper as a example to how to set yours up, let me know ill send it to you.)
