I get a bestbuy giftcertificate, walk in, determined to buy SOMETHING. I browse the gameing aisle, quite shocked, I cant find anything to blow my free money on!!!
Ooh, wait, whats this? GalCiv, read about this one, its supposed to be good.
I get home install it and the flash/shockwave menu decides not to function, Grrrrr....I reinstall, reboot, OOOH! The game launches!
I start playing and die...alot, spend the next two days tryiong to figure the game mechanics and start again. Well drop me drawers and spank me, wheeee! I am making money finally! And its FUN!
Hats off brad and crew on a game well done, unfortunately looks lke ya'll might be a busy after the break here, looks like a few bugs were introduced with the last patch(I havent played long enough to encounter any yet though!), and patching is a bit confusing, I installed 1.1 manually thinking I was set, but kept seeing references to "1.13". Look all over for anything later than 1.1 but cant. So I break down and install this stardock thingy and it adds all kinds of goodies I am looking forward too!
