hope this can be remidied quickly.. as it makes the game totaly unplayable for me in masso gigantic rare tight...
Hey guys,
I've been really busy here lately, and I was out of town last Friday, so then I was even busier. I'm caught up on this thread now, but sorry for the delay.
Peace Phoenix,
If you just update from stardock central, the updated files are replaced, not merged.
The Prefect:
Yes, it is normal that you can't ask for attack treaties against races if your relations are friendly or higher.
Wxman: If you're consistently getting crashes in games that were not convered from 1.13, please install SmartException from Stardock Central, under the Free Stuff tab. This will generate a file called galciv.exe.cra when Gal Civ crashes. Also, if the crash is reproducible from the save game, please e-mail it to me at [email protected].
ForesterGC: did you have a colonization event that affected Planet Quality?
Matthew Downie:
If the anomaly disappears when you reload it, I don't know that the save game would be of any use.
Corsus: if you have a save game that reproduces this, please e-mail it to me. Otherwise, please install SmartException from Stardock Central under the Free Stuff tab and having running the next time that you play Gal Civ so that you can send me the crash report.
Tony: do you have a save game with the undead Yor?
Lord of the ocean sea: Try updating/re-installing your sound drivers, running this link, and make sure to run Gal Civ from a shortcut that points to GalCiv.exe not GCMenu.exe.
