My clock hands

disappeared!

I just loaded up the newest beta version of DT-x and now have no hands on my clocks!
I normally use Etched Clock but I tried Glassy Clock as well with same results.
Before this version of DT-x my clock worked great.
What gives; any ideas?

Thanks.

Possibly the plugin was an old one and DX3 is looking for a new one?

Just try creating a new object with the analog clock plugin and see if you get one OK.

If anyone has the easy solution to this, please respond!

All I had to do to fix my clocks was empty the cache for it. I have the latest version.

I had the same problem. But with the purchased version. I emptied the cache corresponding to the object or widget in question. Worked like a charm!

That problem excisted prior to version 3. I had to remove DesktopX 2.9 (purchased version - several beta releases), and all DesktopX entries in the registry to get the clocks to work. If anyone has the easy solution to this, please respond!

I just completed a complete re-install of Windows XP Pro for an unrelated issue. Desktop X 3 worked fine and I had clock hands prior to the reinstall...now, however, no hands. Cleaning the cache has not helped. I'm still looking for an answer. Thanks all.

The hands are back after running Desktop X themes and objects...now whether that is the solution? I don't know, but after installing a couple of desktop themes and objects...the clock widgets had hands. ?
