Never seen minor race events

What unique minor race events are there?

I've heard of Dread Lords, and Arnor -- never gotten those.

I've had a Venge "terrorist" minor civ appear, but they never seem to do anything.

I was playing with Lucky for awhile, but it's been off and still nothing.

I notice the Venge get special graphics... do the Dread Lords and Arnor?

I haven't seen these either, but I believe that in more recent builds that some events like this do not show up on the lower difficulty levels.

The terrorist Civ can be very evil. Playing a tiny rare, and they poisoned an Altarian planet to PQ 10. Oops, that was your only planet? Bye, bye... Needless to say, once they did that, I didn't give them the chance to live long enough to escalate *shudder* their attacks

Do you get a message that they are doing it?

Basically, the only thing I notice about the Venge is they always get the same picture and they always give the Terrorism is Over message when wiped out. I've never seen them attack.

Then again I sell every new minor all my trade goods and wipe out their cash, but I doubt that does anything.

Once it happens, you do get a message as to who was responsible, but as far as I can tell, there is no way to know before then, except by meeting that particular race of terrorists in an earlier game, and killing them before they get the chance to act. I think in the early days of Galciv, Frogboy posted that terrorists would escalate if given time. A personal wish is that the first sign would be something smaller than effectively destroying a planet. It would also be cool if they had a particular agenda (hate evil, hate imperialists, hate federations, hate Humans, whatever), of course with some way to find that out. It would be fun to bribe the Drengin to wipe out an anti-Terran faction, too far away to attack quickly yourself.
