Help with making a volume slider

How do I make a volume slider using DXPlayer settings? I keep trying and I have no clue really.

Both actually, I'm kind of confused, I know DX has a plugin but I'm not sure how to get it to work. Thanks.

The problem is, when I create a new object, then choose DXPlayer and volume (sli) as default, it won't let me select the images. The OK button is greyed out, even after I fill out both fields. I've tried taking a volume bar from another player and changing the images, but it ends up not looking so hot.
