Icons Not Showing

I have found no one with the same problem as me, which is unusual. I love the recent folders and custom places bar in Enhanced Diag, however none of the special icons show. I just see the generic ICO icon in place of recent folders and all of the enhanced buttons on the top. It is quite annoying. I even have recently reinstalled windows (for other reasons) and it is still doing it. Any help would be appreciated.

I have this issue also, and have sent emails with screenshots, but as yet no response (a week or more ago now).

I still use it anyway, but it looks rubbish until these issue is identified.

Do you have an graphics viewer installed that is set as the default viewer for Icons, suich as ACDSee? You might want to try changing the settings in whatever program you might be using to disable it as the default icon viewer and see if that helps.

Any other ideas. I've tried reinstalling, but the I am still getting the 'missing icon' icon for the menu at the top of the window...

Here is an example. Notice the ico missing icons in the upper right..

Yep. I'm seeing the same exact problem and I just installed Object-Desktop and Object-Dock a couple of days ago on a pretty brand new machine.. (I'm using a different skin, too, btw...)

WOW!! Thank you Sir Lanter! I went into ACDSEE and clicked that ICO checkbox and rebooted and the problems' gone! You rock!

I just posted a new thread about the same thing. Sorry about that... I couldn't see thjis forum. I think that the threads here were old enough that the Enhanced Dialog forum wasn't showing up in SDC for me. Sure enough, ACDSee was replacing the image with their default. This is the first graphics app that has ever done that to me.
