I get my ass kicked on Cakewalk!!!! You can laugh all you want! But I REALLY need some basic tips.

Yes , to any other loosers :) , changing the taxes is a first thing to do , and do not afraid to set them high sometimes, it's not MoO , setting taxes too low will not help you and "your people" it has to be balanced.
I believe because in MoO most of the people learned to reduce the taxes on first ocasion possible make them hard to adapt to GalCiv "style" .

I just noticed this (gees these forums can make it hard to follow things up sometimes).

English is actually my second language too so I wasn't amused by anything other than the fact that on Calkwalk you can practicaly sit back and just click the mouse button and watch the other races beat each other up while they worship you like a god bearing you gifts and giving you lotsa free juju!

Its so true . . . I found that amusing . . . hehe.

Regarding the name Cotal . . . erhm . . . I'm glad you asked. Well it means 'Winged Serpent' or rather thats what a Cotal is or are or was (also spelt Couatl . . . trad Span/Sth American or was it Polyneas . . . can't recall). Which isn't peculiar because I'm of Polish decent anyway.

Couatls ecologicaly speaking are due to appear again around about 50 000 or there abouts after (and on condition that) we throw our moon . . . ah but thats another story. :)

okay I acually won one today I killed everyone it was soo amazing me winning and yeah it was on normal!! mwwahwahwahhawhwh IN YOUR FACE PEOPLES..... Well the Jolt x4 has really gotten to me.......... playing till 1 am isn't the best thing to do......
my eyes see pretty colors!!!!

Yoda - 'in' doesn't always mean 'not.
For example, flammable and inflammable mean the same thing. Here, the prefix in- is not the Latin negative prefix in-, which is related to the English un- and appears in such words as indecent and inglorious. The in- in inflammable is an intensive prefix that is derived from the Latin preposition in.
I hope that clears everything up.

When you highlight and hit the 'Q' button, it pastes what you hightlighted in the message box where you type.

The button is in javascript. Unless you have a browser that allows javascript to fill form fields, it doesn't work. I've tried to get Mozilla to use the quote button, but the program does not allow javascript to do anything of the sort. You'll have to do it manually.

the prefix IN is equated to not able to, or unable to. Thus the word INHABITABLE formally would mean not habitable or not able to be lived upon. Just my little lesson for the day .

Therefore, Master Yoda, a related but game-unrelated question : what's the story of inflammable and flammable? Logically I should use a inflammable product to put out a flammable one that was set on fire. But, practically, it would be a very bad idea ;) .
