Driver to become a Quadrilogy

Atari has announced that the Driver franchise will continue on with Driver 4 (working title). Reflections Interactive, the people behind Stuntman and the other Driver games, will reprise their role as developer. Although few details have been announced we do know that Driver 4 will be set in New York City and that the core is to be the car chase scenes that were so popular from the previous installments. Driver 4 will include open-ended missions - think GTA - and will be hitting PC, PS2 and Xbox in Early 2006.
