Memorial Made From Melted Saddam Busts

Before the war, Iraqi artist Kalat was forced to make many of the busts of Saddam in Baghdad. Two brass statues of Saddam on horseback were taken down, cut up, and sent to Kalet. He then spent months reshaping them into a memorial: a small Iraqi girl reaching out to comfort a soldier as he mourns a fallen comrade.
If the image is dead go to the Snopes.com article I got it from or an ARNEWS article, which has a smaller version that shows Kalet, but cuts off the part with the Iraqi girl.
The memorial will eventually be shipped to the United States. It's beautiful.
