I've fought this fight way too long
The wounds get deeper by the day
But you won't see my white flag just yet
All of my strategies are now useless
I have no clue what to do
Except to keep fighting this fight with you
I don't know if either of us will ever give up
But as each day goes on
I feel we are growing farther apart
And whatever it is that makes you happy
I hope that you'll find it
Because I know that it's not my smile anymore
I wish I could find a way
To tell you what it is you're doing
But it would only make you unhappy
Even if it means that I won't feel right
