Explicit Scenes Created By Hackers

Rockstar Games has finally taken a stance on the controversial Hot Coffee mod created for its top selling game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The publisher has come forth to claim that the mod is "the work of a determined group of hackers who have gone to significant trouble to alter scenes in the official version of the game." Rockstar has kept mum about the controversy for almost two weeks when the supposed hidden code was found in the PS2 version of the game.
Rockstar has also disclosed how they believe the mod was created, "hackers created the 'Hot Coffee' modification by disassembling and then combining, recompiling and altering the game's source code." This kind of action is actually illegal under the The Digital Millennium Copyright Act but since the modder is not a United States citizen the law doesn't apply and all Rockstar can hope to do is "increase the security protection of the source code."
