Electronic Arts Snags Half-Life 2

Electronic Arts and Valve have announced that EA will take over publishing for Valve. In the aftermath of the publishing dispute between Valve and VU Games, EA has wisely decided to take up where VU Games left off. The deal has EA publishing the soon to be released Xbox version of Half-Life 2 as well as a "Game of the Year" edition for the PC which will include Counter Strike: Source, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Half Life: Source and is due out this fall. Valve's Steam delivery service, which was a large part of the VU Games dispute, will continue to distribute the award winning game online.
