Electronic Arts' cash cow, the Madden franchise, has been given a new website with the upcoming release of Madden 06. The site contains gameplay info, screenshots, and various gameplay videos for jocks/nerds to drool over. Prima, a strategy guide maker, has also included some tips and tricks along with downloadable wallpaper.
Being that this is the first football game since EA acquired exclusive rights to the NFL they have decided to pack a bit more into the game. The online area of the game will come with a fantasy football service that is free to anyone pre-ordering and will be hooked up to USA Today fantasy league. Madden NFL will be taking over the gridiron August 8th on PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, DS, and GBA. A PC version will follow August 17, then PSP on September 27, followed by the mobile platforms on August 9, and Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at some point after that. Source: Official Website
