AutoAssault Delayed
Vehicle Combat Put on Hold, Beta Extended

NCSoft's next MMOG, Auto Assault, has been delayed to 2006 citing quality issues. NetDevil Producer Steven Snow updated the Auto Assault community via its forums, stating that "[developer] NetDevil and [publisher] NCsoft are both companies with a strong commitment to releasing 'only when it's ready,' so we want to extend the beta into the spring of 2006."
But with the bad came the good, Snow also informed the community that the latest of the North American invitations have been sent out, and that the beta itself will continue until the Spring of 2006, with more invitations to follow this fall. The extra time will be used on tweaking and tuning current features and even adding some new features.
