Anybody know how this artist did this?

In screenshots, do a search for a screenshot named Vista Feel. Can anyone explain how he did the transparent border around the window in the middle of the screen? I have ask him in the comments section, but it appears he is not going to answer. If you notice, he is running Windows XP Pro and not windows Vista. Is this a Visual Style or a Window Blind? Thanks

It looks like he has edited the "Longhorn 5203" skin added some magicpink to the window borders to make them transparent. And then another program to apply a dropshadow, for instance WindowFX.

when you use the magic-pink, it tends to pretend that the area that is pink isn't there, which makes it more difficult to use than you would think

Why don't you just ask the artist? I take it, iy!n vista is the WindowBlinds skin used in the screen shot..

Good question. And I have a better answer. Asking the person who made the screen shot on how is pointless. He's a vistor using a WindowBlinds skin created by someone else. The artist of the WindowBlinds skin itself would be the one to ask. Hope I didn't confuse your feeble mind.
