Crashes to desktop no matter what I do.

I'm patched up, both drivers and gal civ. I've switched video cards from gf2 to ati 9500 pro. I haven't had the game work since I've upgraded. I have removed the old install and reinstalled a clean version. I've tried setting my desktop to 16 bit and that didn't work either. Anyone have any ideas?

forgot to add that it crashes when i try to run the game.

well i didnt have this problem until yesterday, but now every time certain social improvements finish, i crash (makes it very very hard to play when u drop ever few minutes). I have no clue how to fix it, and i have tried a reinstall as well. It is a major pain in the butt, and not worth playin atm.

Try to update your video card & and install new version of direct-x 9.0b

I did it and now I have no problems
