Computer Freezes on Right-Click

Right-click on open area freezes puter in W2K

I like this new Object Dock. It is great. I have had problems with computer freezes when right-clicking on the open area in the dock. I thought it was active-desktop and disabled that with-out results. I can try to avoid right-clicking on the open dock area but I am not sure if I can control myself.
