Logon to Windows using Multiplicity?

I'd like to use Multiplicity Pro to logon to my secondary machine so that I don't have to keep a keyboard attached to it.  I only use my secondary via Multiplicity.  Can you support this in the future please?

You can use Multiplicity to login to a secondary pc.  I do this all the time.

Due to the login screen showing up well before the PC is actually finished starting everything, there may be a brief wait for MP to start up, but then you should be able to login as normal.

If you have to use ctrl-alt-del to login, then ctrl-alt-backspace will do the same thing.

I still lose the C-A-B functionality on my work domain after [X] [period of time]. It could be a tabletPC issue though. Always happy to test furthur though and wouldn't give up MP Pro for anything.

Hmm, I can get the user/pass dialog to show up by using Ctrl-Alt-Del and my mouse navigation works, but I'm unable to fill in the username or password with the keyboard.

How can I go about trying to diagnose the issue here?  I'm running this across two XP SP2 machines, no tablets or anything.  Right now I keep a keyboard attached to my secondary PC just for logon.

Out of interest, if you reboot & then do ctrl-alt-del on the secondary keyboard, can you then use multiplicity to enter into the username & password box?

After you have done that, you should be able to fix it by following the instructions below.  It seems you have a security setting enabled.

Run gpedit.msc.

Go to local computer policy->computer configuration->windows settings->security settings->local policies->security option.

Then find "interactive logon : Do not require CTRL + ALT+ DEL".  If this is set to disabled then change it to enabled.  The default is not defined, but you cannot reset it to that.

Then reboot & I think it should work.

For some reason the OS allows the CAD, but then doesn't see the keystrokes entered.  This doesn't happen on all machines though.

Thanks for the help.  Using Ctrl-Alt-Backspace cleared up the issue.  I can login fine.  Ctrl-Alt-Del seems to put Multiplicity in a bad state where the keyboard input is being lost.
