congrats to the winners... this must have been the most difficult thing to judge and in this case i totally understand that everything's different to my votes. :) again: huge congratulations to all of the winners! :)
sure it'S difficult to skin in those limiting borders, BUT you're creating your own and always different borders in every modern skin, what makes it also different, PLUS you mustn't forget that there's no coding necessary for classic, what's the most different part on good modern skins. i dunno, but i think you also don't have to write anything for your components, what's also very difficult.
yep, that would be cool. two categorys. sure it's difficult to make a good classic skin, i already said that. but i also said, it's much more difficult to make a GOOD modern skin... and in my eyes a modern skin is just good when EVERYTHING fits together and the components are nice, too. that's why i was first a bit stunned when i got the gfx for h2os components, as i didn't fit together with the other gfx of the skin at the first look, but then i realised that it's fitting perfect to the conce
hm... argento... just make a nice modern design and post it on the forums, you'll find a coder for it :) see vag. he doesn't know maki-coding as well, but he made the gfx and i did the coding... about wa2-skin winners... i don't think (and hope) that will happen. making a good wa2 sure isn't easy, but making a GOOD modern skin is much more difficult plus much more interesting, so all my choices actually go for modern skins.

20CECIL, i said "we" as most people just posted three skins ;) and about the effort of the skin.... it matters for ME... and as we were all asked for OUR OWN oppinions i told MINE ;) and i like skins best that look nice, are a at least a bit useable and where you can see that there has been put much effort into it... different people, different opinions ;)

i'm totally rpcs and plagues opinion! FIRST the judges seem unable to do their work properly (and i'm wondering why some of the best skinners say that... could it PERHAPS be that it's true?!?!?!)... i disagree with almost all rankings. ok, d-reliction is great, true, so is ar7.... but emp2?!?! no offense, it's nice, but definatly not first place! and for best power user... impulse and resurgence don'T have that much features but they won... those two skins are those which are the less "power us
