Hmm... Gluten causes severe burns to my small intestine, and can result in you basically dying of malnutrition.... While Gluten may not be a poison to all, to those of us with Celiac, consuming it on a regular basis can result in malnutrition and even death. I am using poison in a figurtive sense not a technical.... It causes severe damage to me. The same way somone may say a certian type of music is "poisoning" a generation. Get it?

Link I read the above article this morning in SHOCK. I have celiac disease that requires I stick to a strict gluten free diet. McDonalds has been representing their fries as gluten free for years. I probably eat their fries 3 times a week. I am so upset as I am finding today the

What is your routine when its time for sleep? Babies do well with consistency, so that they know "okay we are doing this so its slepp time". For example we put on the same cd of soft classical music before nap and every bedtime. We do quiet thing to undwind. Read a book, rock in the chair with lights out and nurse. 3 1/2 months is a big growth spurt time also. He may be learning a new skill. With his new awareness of the world, he may not want

I went to a party like that, and it was so fun! The lady that did ours was pretty plain also. She was a high school teacher! I wonder if any of her students knew about her side job?

Yesterday Little Jayna had a milestone. One that was certianly noticed, and yet there is no spot in the baby book to record such a feat! She had her first solid poo. A little formed turd right in her diaper. Is it weird that I felt the urge to record such a moment? I restrained myself from photographing the event... and instead sent it on its way to

She is sitting up now, loves to eat puffed brown rice, sweet potatoes and mama milk. She drinks from a cup quite well. She can zoom across the room by barrell-ro

My dad mostly talked about how opptimistic he was for the plant to stay open, and how it would be good to change it to hybrid vehicles because they are already a green plant that produces its own energy. He focused on the positives, and how it was important to not focus on rumors but we knew they would edit. They make the announcment monday, so heres hoping...

Dharma~ Well written! I have to think that these parents never had "that moment". They never looked at their child and decided to hell with material goods, I am going to be the best parent I can be for my child. I think the parents are to blame, as they are teaching that happiness should come from goods and $$. Sadly these children will grow up believing this, and never find true happiness. Many of the best parents I know aren't rich
