The "pant's" are actually legwarmers! Yep, I have an 80's baby. She has a ton of leg warmers. She is so big, already in size 12 month clothes. She goes through clothes faster then you can blink. I will have to post a photo of her in this cute sassy skirt she got from great-aunt Jenny for xmas. I just love this baby!

I love it! My DH calls Jayna 80's baby, since I always have her in leg warmers! THey are the best for the gap between her socks and pants when i carry her. If you evenr wanted to knit baby leg warmers, I would buy your stash!

Oh my gosh, I am sick and horrified. Reading that article made me cry. It is terrifying to think there are people that would do these things. I swear to God, if anyone ever lay an inappropriate hand near my daughter, or ever had a nasty thought cross their mind, they would pay. Makes me want to hold my baby tight and never let go.

Jayna turned 6 months old on Tuesday. I can'y believe my baby is growing up so fast! For her "half-birthday" her daddy and I took her to a kids concert at an indoor park, and we had dinner with her Grandparents and Aunt Jessica. Her Grandma Cherly even baked Jayna her own sweet potatoe. (Jayna's FAVORITE) She is growing by leaps and bounds. We got for her h

First off I want to say what a well written article! Way to go on promoting breast feeding, and being a supportive spouse! I am currently nursing my 6 month old daughter. We have had 2 cases of thrush and a HORRIBLE case of mastitis in those 6 months, but stuck with it and are still nursing today. I agree with TexasWahine, that if you are not able to nurse because of a medical issue then you shouldn't feel bad. But I also agree that people tha

I wanted to share a picture of baby and I on our walk last week. We were lucky enough to get an awesome MamaJacket from Attached to baby. www.store.attachedtobaby.com. It is a special Jacket you can wear when your baby is in a carrier. We love ours to keep baby and I warn as we take little strolls around the neighborhood on not to cold days. <

My Grandma (Jayna's great-grandma) is a member of the local group of the red hat ladies. For those of you unfamilar with them, they are a group of ladies who lunch and do tons of social events (fashion shows, trips, plays and line dancing to name a few!) They all wear red and purple... complete with fancy red hats and often sparkles and feather boas! They are certianl

Tonight as I swayed with me my sweet baby girl... I felt so overjoyed. Her head on my shoulder, feeling her satin-soft cheek against my own,Her fuzzy soft hair wispy on my chin, her hand resting on a familar place. I felt Love, over-powering, knock you on the floor type love. Seeing those little eyelids fluttering as she nodded off to dreamland...

OMG I can't belive she is almost 2!!!! In about a month we are going to start solids. We were at the grocery store so I picked up some rice cereal, and ended up crying ! Just the thought of her being so grown up that she can eat "food" sends me to tears! They grow up SOOO fast!

I realized I had not posted anything in a month! Man has this month gone fast! Jayna has a new cousin little Akinori! He's sure a cutie too! We went to visit him when he was a week old. I held him and couldn't believe that 4 short months before my little baby was a tiny newborn.... time flies! Jayna is almost 5 months and BUSY. She is 14 1/2 lbs. She
