I probably wouldn't get a DVR because ER is the only show I take time out to watch. (We don't even have cable) I guess I am not really a TV person that much.

Out of all my babble I forgot to add, to those of you who think military familes have it soooo great and get so much for "free", why don't you enlist if its such a sweet deal. Especially if your deployed! Tax free status, I am sure people are begging to be sent to war zones so they don't have to pay taxes on their income! Give me a break........

I agree with the pp that a lot depends where you live. The city I live in a "cheap" house will set you back at least 250,000. If you want to build new better have 4-500K We pay high property taxes but the schools are excellent. It is expensive area, and we pay a lot to live here, but there are excellent schools and parks, and low crime. I feel safe. Most of our neighbors drive brand new luxury cars, big suvs and have at least one car for every

My sweet daughter was baptised this past Sunday. She wore a family baptismal linen gown that has been in my family for at least 3 generations. Her grandfather, my cousin and I were all baptised in it. She looked beautiful. (I will post pictures when they are uploaded) Many of our family came to the event. My Aunt and Uncle even drove from Duluth! Jamie and hi

Well that was the first time he ever got left out and the ONLY time! They replaced the carpet today, luckily it only cost 85 bucks. But now we learned our lesson!

Great article. Child birth is painful, but at least we get somthing out of it. But I didn't think birth was that bad to tell the truth and I didn't have an epi. But I do agree men are whiney babies when it comes to their male parts.

Last night I went out for a little bit. George hates his kennel and he was asleep on our bed, so I shut our bedroom door to keep him from chasing the cats while I was away. When I came home it was a disaster. He somehow managed to LOCK the bedroom door. The door has a strong turn lock, not a push button. The key for the door was in a drawer in the bathroom IN

Hear, Hear! I can't believe that they make halter tops in ALL sizes, and I mean ALL. (They have belly shirts in sizes to fit my 2 month old daughter. ) This disturbs my dh to no end. He has already said Jayna is not allowed to wear a two piece swimsuit until she is 16.

On Wendnesday mornings Jayna and I attend a LLL playgroup. (Since she is so little it is really just socialization for me!) Today we met at the MN zoo. Jayna slept through most of it but did stay awake for most of the dolphin show. We bought a year pass for our family, so hopefully as she gets older we will get to use it lots! </

Unfortunatly where I live there is NO public transportation.(which I find strange) I am very lucky that my family lives less then a mile away and they have 4 cars and 4 drivers. So if I REALLY need to get somewhere, I can catcha a ride.

Now that I get to stay home with my dear daughter, Jaysen and I were looking at ways to cut expences. We decided to become a one car family. We sold my car on Thursday night. Jaysen will take our car to work, so now we only have to pay insurance on one vehicle. Plus now that I don't have transportation, I won't be tempted ti go shopping when Jayna and I are b

Last Friday my poor dad had to have surgery on his kidney. They went in and removed 22 stones from just one kidney. He still has to have the stones removed from his other kidney, but they only do one at a time. 22 kidney stones, I can't even imagine the pain it was causing. Some were deeply embedded in the kidney and the tissue had to be lasered out. OUCH!<B
