/me is wondering where the preview jpg's are
feline
going back to the subject of Bra's, i was fascinated to read in the May 2002 stardock magazine: "if you buy ObjectBra or have Object Desktop youll get 1.2 as soon as its available" so, no more need to wonder about which colour of wonderbra to order. soon we can all try out ObjectBra 1.2, presumably a fully skinnable Bra /me wonders what special features it adds to normal bra design
Doreen - Feline nope I don't live in England if I did I'm sure my English would be more proper... I'm in Cali i live in england, and look at the fun i have with english! cali? i dont recognise that. but then, about the only thing i was ever taught in geography was volcanoes and earthquakes Do
DOH, just remebered that you did say it was going to be your birthday. sorry about that JavaBrain, i got a bit distracted
/me didnt realize it was JavaBrains birthday /me goes looking for magic wand ... /me thinks i am going to need two magic wands ... ....... ........... AHHA! done it i always thought that chocolate birthday cakes tended to be to small. now the chocolate plannet has a moon! with 21 candles (the age of nearly all women)! and the best bit is that the moon's or
*giggle* Doreen, it has already been pointed out that most of the people actually here are girls nice idea though. /me wonders how many lurkers are watching this most educational thread
/me watches T-man suspiciously i hope you arent harboring any thoughts of stopping this threads growth! starone and i broke the problems with OB thread in two since it was getting big (all 200 posts of it *snigger*), and it just wasnt the safe after that. look at it this way, this thread shows that this site is growing as a person, and developing its own excentricities. therefore it should be treasured for the wonderous thing that it is <img src="http://images.stardock.com/im
/me wonders if painting go faster stripes on the calender will make this arrive faster sounds good, i want it now!
there are some known problems with the OB conversion. it works fine on some skins, but not so well on others. there is quite a bit of information on the objectbar newsgroup, if you are interested in looking there. what are you trying to do? are you simply trying to fix the OB skin, or to modify the WB skin so that it imports correctly? if you are simply trying to fix the OB skin i may be able to help. i am not an expert, but i have done some experimenting with OB sk
the link has a dot '.' character on the end. take that off manually once you have clicked on the link at it works fine. how can you tell the bar and its menus are transparent? all i see is while text on a black background. OB does support transparancy, although i think you need win2k / winXP for it to work, same as winfx. i beleive OB supports rounded edges, so a menu with sloping edges should be creatable. i am not sure how OB would handle lining them up though.
Doreen - sorry grusome humor, you get that working for a hospital i learn things because it is fun. who cares beyond that? so, Doreen works with computers. Doreen also works in a hospital. also Doreen needed a program to translate between 7 different "languages". /me is almost afraid to ask Doreen, you arent based in or near England are you by any chance? it is just that i write software to deal with electronic messages that hostpitals send to doc
age? /me just tells people i am 3 as for moving in the same direction, i was born old (i am assured by my mother), so i have been working on getting younger ever since.
Doreen, i need stress releaf, and this place does the job quite well as for the problem, progress is slow, but i am getting there.
see, we were right to be interested intigration of the smiley buttons will be useful. i also never really liked the popups for comment entry, so more nice things
i have seen one example that looked very good. it was on an Open University program about GUI design. since it was only demonstrated on tv i have never got to interact with it personally. they were showing a tree of data, about 6 layers deep. it started with one node at the top. each node branched into 10 sub nodes. it was layed out sideways (top at the left, bottom on the right) on a monitor. you clicked on a node to rotate it in the plane of the monitor.
/me doesnt see what everyone else is getting so excided about it was the cat who got killed by curiousity, so i am justifiably concered
/me wonders if Alexandrie is teasing us deliberately
/me tries to sqeeze down the network connection to stardock central
JavaBrain! that is a waste of good chocolate you know! dracoform says that your hubby should make you eat in the nude. easier and more fun to clean up after eating deserts that way /me *giggle* *blush*
good luck Elf! just dazzle them with your briliance and everything will go fine
Doreen, you flutter your eye lids at the stardock people on the door, and i will try to sneak in and borrow Frogboy's PC for an hour or two. that way we can have a look and play
JavaBrain - Feline, i didn't actually leave. I was lurking around, but just too busy to post. Work gets in the way every now and then /me thinks this is suspicious however, i have a cunning plan now that you are back, i could curl up on your lap. this will stop you running off again, and i can hopefully get fed bits of chocolate and cuddled now and then. a win - win solution <img sr
JavaBrain - Unless T-man or somebody decides it's too big and deletes it /me starts creating an emergancy plan to steal T-man's keyboard no delete key if there is no keyboard
/me wants to see this preview to T-Man, they only want you to live up to your reputation for producing working sites /me considers it dangerous to develop a reputation for being compitent
Elfkura - Lubbing = Loving =P. I think it's a nerdy way of saying it. different nerds, different ways of speaking Elfkura - Whoa, I thought this thread died /me has plans for this thread *giggle*
