The content margin right will move the text to the right. However, I do believe that wb4 has additional text alignment settings.

Thanks for the link, IPlural. That is one program I never heard of. I use to use SpyBlocker which was fantastic but didn't work well with XP firewall so every now and then I run adaware. I want to mention a mentionable thing. Before I got a PC I was conditioned in believing that nothing was free. When I seen programs online for download and they were free it seemed out of the ordinary that in a greedy world there would be something that was free. It took me some time to compr
Oh that would makes sense. I just did a experiment on what ads were installed and seems there was a couple from the browser but most of what ad aware found were protected cookies from this site which adaware labeled bugs. Ad-aware still found the darn xuipter. I can not get rid of that thing. Xuipter has risen to the status of a virus IMO
I seen this browser on a tech segment on the local news and they said the browser has no spyware.
In case anyone is interested http://www.avantbrowser.com/index.html Less than 1mg doesn't seem like it would be a good browser but it has a popup stopper, google search and tabbed interface.
Why not add a margin in the code. Will that not work?
What does bump mean?
Thanks for the address. I was hoping someone would post them
This has been a very informative thread. I have no idea what you are talking about though. suggestion from a 5 rated author: set one tile transparent on the top or bottom and set the margin so only that tile stretches.
I was messing around in the advanced options in display and noticed there are some parts/text/colors that wb doesn't touch on. After I got the extra parts to match the skin I saved the file. I wanted to add the extra tweaks to a skin. I opened the theme file and it looks like wb code with a few extra things added. some squares and a few of these --> %% My problem is I rely on SkinStudio and that is where adding extra code falls short. I really have to hand it to the skinners that can
IRC is Internet Relay CHat You connect to a chat server. I only been to wincustomize room once and don't remember the address. But it would be something like chat.wincustomize.com port 6667 You put a chat name in the nickname and in user info put guess who or some other stupid thing so chatters that do a check on who you are don't find diddly. Some servers require a real email address or a password but they are few and far between. Mostly those servers that are plagued by script k
What is puzzling is the alpha works for some ppl and not for everyone. I suppose that has to do with the system video cards and stuff like that. I guess I am jealous that I can't get it to work.
The newest version 3.9d won't even let me open explorer. All I can do is log on and look at a blank desktop. I think Stardock was premature in releasing any version of the new WB.
I don't know the answer to your problem except Windowblinds 4.0 That version won't even let me open a browser.

Guess so because your here Really, I am wondering if there is a way to incorporate a theme file into a windowblinds skin? A command button could be added or a smart button but that wouldn't be automatic. I am wondering if there was a way to make the theme file run on the skins startup.
To make a partition the easy way, install partition magic.
Someone asked that exact question not too long ago. Can't remember what the answer was. Hope that is helpful I set my transparency with System Mechanic or Microangelo. Can't remember which one I used. Actually I hid the desktop icons all together because desktop clutter is not chic
There is a diagnostic site online that analyzes your browser installation and pin point everything that is out of place. I don't remember the name of the site but the bottom line is, everything added to IE causes it to slow and act different. Such as google bars and Xuipter, popup stoppers, webblinds, etc. When I got XP I was planning on a dual boot but a computer geek friend said, Why keep 98. I haven't missed it at all and haven't had any programs not work with XP. Perhaps
The last rating debate was productive seeing less 10 ratings now.
paxx you are but one person but we all know that screenshots are what determines a skins rating for one simple reason, ppl are generally lazy and don't care to take the time to install and revist the page for a rating. Treetog is an exceptional artist but overrated by his groopies. Some aspects of his drooled over skins are not readable. Black background with dark gray text? Is that a feature that should be oogled over? No offense treetog you are still an outstandin
I found 2 more cents The possibility of a person rating a skin low and downloading it is rare. Also, who downloads, installs and then rates a skin? The monitors don't even do that. The rating is done before installation and is made by looking at a screenshot. Can this be an accurate rating with such complex skins. Why spend weeks on a skin when all you need to do is spend a fe
people who work hard to make something and just give it away... Brings up an issue of the rating game. Why rate a skin? The rating system is flawed and full of prejudicial ratings and should be done away with. Everyone knows that the internet is not an accurate assessment of a persons true feelings and when a person rates a skin it is first rated by author and then by author and not by, is this skin really a good skin? I say if gold stars have to be given out
Reading this thread I am wondering if this filter no no also applies to Windowblind themes. Can a wb skin be made without the use of a filter? If so is there an example of a non filter skin online?
I am starting to get the idea that Jafo doesn't like filters Are not Gel buttons and that glassy look nothing more than a filter and thoes make everyone smile.
