I have been sending out resumes and the overwhelming demand is for plain text. I have gotten replies from govt agencies saying they can't open a .doc or .pdf file. Text files are the safest, I think Word doc can have malicious macros which if your security is not set right can really mess up the PC. Virus software doesn't scan for macros and they can be as dangerous as a virus.

Media Jukebox will send you the shareware version if you send them a skin. I'm not sure all the shareware version does over the freeware version. The best quality of sound i have heard is from CoolEdit.

I also noticed that when the picture is removed it moves the name over to the left. Puts the name in the picture area. There should be a happy medium for skinning this area.

Just wondering if the welcome screen is used by many. Some skins have built in areas for the picture and looks kind of lonely/empty without the picture actually being there. Which is better, making an area for a picture or not?

Right click the program > Configuration > Theme Settings > Start New theme button you will need a background bmp to start the theme and also a name. A new folder/theme will be added to the theme list with your new theme. all the other features are added in the config. below the Theme settings. Check other theme folders for the names of the graphics.

i don't run spyblocker or adaware any longer and surprised that spyblocker is no longer free. eventually I guess there will be no more freeware. Perhaps if ad blocking software wasn't available more companies would be offering free programs and relying on ads to pay the bills.

If loosing data from a hard drive has you bummed, then the best thing to do is talk about it with someone. There are many organizations that help with coping with a loss. the data collected on a hard drive is in effect a part of your lifes experience. loosing that is similiar to loosing a part of yourself. Can it be replaced? some can but the data most important more than likely can not.

I use to monitor web pages for Talk City looking for pirates and also for good pages. A good page is a page that keeps a person there. I found myself at Splash! page for awhile. Nice page.

Makes you think, Xuipter lists only a few keys to delete and I recall many more. I checked each key I deleted and everyone had Xuipter in it. I do the same with AOL and haven't had problems deleting the million AOL puts in the registry and I don't have AOL or AIM.

Tab Launchpad makes the desktop so clean looking. Why have a nice background and have icons scattered all over it. Makes no sense. A program like TL doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It is like the swishing of a happy cat's tail.

Thank you, I didn't even think of jpg format. Gosh sometimes the obvious just can't be seen. However does WB read jpg files if the desk back is set in the skin? One wonders. I think max setting refers to the option in the save dialog. I believe the default is something like 80 or 90%.

I did a search in regedit for Xuipter and deleted all entries but left the program folder. I then later discovered they were back in the registry. A bit of advice: I didn't use the instructions but used CTRL F and F3 in regedit and in the process screwed up the search in IE. Follow the yellow brick road because the damage is not repairable even with a reinstall of IE.

Making wallpaper has never been anything that interested me so rejection of the wall in itself doesn't bother me. What does is the fact that it now has to be forced upon everyone that would download the skin and the option to download the wall or not has been taken away. Not everyone is on cable and having a skin that is almost 3mb would take around 15 min to download. A big factor weather to hit download or not. That is my main concern <img src="http://images.stardoc
