Andrea Yates has had and surely continues to need mental help. I wish they would indict her husband. As someone who has a mental illness that requires daily medication, I think Rusty Yates was just as culpable if not more so in the death of the Yate's children.

*Dad don't read this!* Call me crazy, but I can curse like a sailor. I try to never cuss in front of my children, so usually by 9pm each day, I sound like a person afflicted with Tourette's. The obsenities flee from my mouth like our newly released pet bird. During the day, Zombie giggles and pokes fun at my "alternative" attempts to pre-emptively strike against my cursing nature. I have been known to shout, "Sunny Beaches of Texas" instead of SOB when I stub my toe. I can b
Tex, I love and appreciate you, too. I am truly blessed to have you as a friend.
"Houston, we have a problem" Brilliant!
The funny thing is, at first I had it as "I Need A Man" . . . I changed the title and went through and changed all the sentences because I realized that it was a want and not a need That is awesome that you realized that. I am so proud.
Congratulations! That is wonderful, heartening news.
You were and are missed. Hurry up on that vacation. The rest of us aren't!
Oh and btw, Mayor Bill White is a Democrat and so is the majority of the Houston City Council.
Tex, I like the fact that you titled this article, "I Want A Man" instead of "I Need A Man." That says a lot about where you are and how far you have come. You will get your man, Tex. *hugs*
But in their world, tolerance only applies to minorities. That is the problem.
That is crazy! What was the guy doing watching Fear Factor anyway? He should have known better? Does he want them to put a warning up beforehand. I have 6 year olds and an 8 year old that watch that show sometimes. Yes, it is gross. But they walk out of the room and do something else if it makes them sick. Even my children are smarter than this guy. I love this part: His suit added, "NBC is sending the wrong m
How sad. That woman needs to either retire or take a vacation in a mental hospital. I am so sorry that you have to put up with that, LL.
I attended a secular university and quit after 3 years. The brainwashing was atrocious. If my children decide to go to college, I will encourage them to attend a religious university.
Gideon, I don't understand. Where does the Rev and his wife get the money for all the properties they own? Maybe I am dense, but I am missing something here.
But how about your Daddy? How is he now? Thank you for asking, island. He is doing fine and well, now.
It is a delicate balance between caution and fear. One I am not sure I have found as a mother much less for my children. I, too, have heard these same questions from my three children. It is so difficult.
Gee, dharma, I feel for you. Zombie is a mouth/throat snorer. The strips didn't work for him. Nothing has. Usually he only snores on his back, so forty or fifty times I have to nudge/kick him over onto his side. Most of the time this works for about 15 min, only for him to roll over again. Sometimes the nugding is life threatening because he has a tendency to wake up fighting...lol I have actually been socked in the shoulder for my nudging. Good luck with the strips and let us know i
Forget SPM. Forget the Head Honcho....I want a beanie. Just kidding, dharma. I have to admit though, I would have thought important information was worthy of sleeve cuff whispering...not bm's and chicks...
sorry...double post
I have cried at work. Mostly, from stress related things. I was a store manager for Wal*Mart when I found out my father had been in an accident on a business trip. He was here in Houston and I didn't even know it until the hospital found my name and number in his cell phone. I burst out the front door crying and running for my car to get to the hospital. My district manager was shocked and quite angry at first, but he soon understood. There have been several other times. I have even h
Henry is too cute, dharmagrl. I am not a big dachshund fan, but even I could fall in love with that face. Love your little one as long as you can, and buy more salt and vinegar Pringles!
Adorable. Thanks for the posting. Keeps us all smiling.
dharmagrl exactly how are people going to know when a car's been there for 6 minutes? Are there going to be tow trucks roaming around constantly, looking for broken down vehicles? Are the towers going to stand there with a stopwatch, timing the poor drivers who are trying to change a tire or fix the problem? What happens if all but one lug
Yes, but these tow trucks come whether you want them or not. You have exactly six minutes to get your car running....and it does cost you! If you refuse to be towed, the police are called. You can even be arrested!
Well, I actually found the reference to the monument pointing to heaven inspiring. Thank you for this article, Sabbatismus. Kingbee, what is your obsession with article titles? You always attack my titles too? I think I am going to name an article something like...Kingbee Writes Comments....and see if you attack that one too.
