Reply to MOO3 debate in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

MOO3 simply didn't work upon release, and for a long time they showed no inclination to fix it. Post on their boards that it does not work and they tell you you are stupid for not playing the game They wanted you to play (as if they were paying US to use the product instead of we paying them). The instability problems, lack of features I expect, and indications that the basic game will no longer be updated in an effort to push sales of AP are all reasons I am considering going back to

There are many things about the user interface which need fixing, and this is most certainly one of them. I do not have a mouse wheel, and when the wheel does not resolve the problem any better than the slider that is no solution anyway. Like any well designed program this needs to let us type in a number instead of using that k3wL slider. The time it would take to code would be less than it takes to read this thread.
