a republican would have gotten the same treatment, especially from the media now the lack of media coverage is another issue. it should have been better reported. but as far as his actual sentencing goes...just another rich man gettin away with it. some go to rehab, some get a slap on the wrist, and others get let go and write books that are nothing more than thinly veiled confessions. but it's not a republican v democrat thing to me.

i would imagine it depends on the composer of the music and who holds the rights to that. if stardock created it internally, like in a "work for hire" scenario, than it would indeed be legal since stardock does not enforce copyrights. but if stardock bought limited rights to the music, ther might be other issues at play. this actually has me curious, i think i'm going to consult the P.R.O. that i use and hold membership in, ASCAP for an answer
