HELP!!! my computer has the same problem and no one is answering my post like 10 hours ago. I have a desktop and I've tried almost everything you guys recommended and nothing is working. I think it was when my computer couldn't shut down, I manually turned my computer off and then let windows xp scan my disk for errors. Now the usernames and shutdown buttons aren't appearing. What can I do?!

It starts off with not being able to shutdown/logoff my computer, so I just tried manually turning off my computer. When I get back on my new Bootskin works very well, but now my logon screen is all messed up. Everything is showing up EXCEPT the user's password inputs... if anyone has the solution to this problem please reply or email me at [email protected]
