OK, so this is SUCH a newbie question. But I have enabled hidden files and can't find the boot.ini file. I found a backup, but not the file. Could someone give me the full path? Thanks

Thanks for your responses guys! GreenReaper, what is DEP? If I change the c:\boot.ini, so the line says "/execute" will this change anything else in programs? I found your response to be very informed. Could you explain what the "/noexecute=optin" line means so that I know what I'm changing? Thanks again for your response.
I have tried to download and install cursor xp after a hdd crash. However, when I download and install, my windows begins to blink on and off, and I am unable to do anything but turn the power off at the switch. If I wait long enough, then an error report comes up stating that Dr. Watson Debugger has failed and needs to close. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3x's, all with the same results. I even edited the registry, deleting all entries I could find of stardock but this did not work eit
