Yeah sorry, should have mentioned OS as well. I'm using Windows XP SP3, IP 4.09[b].003 (x86), same as you. The floppy drive and hard drives all change when I apply the icon package either by applying the entire package through IP or by changing the icons individually, so that functions normally. The CD/DVD drives however still don't change as they should.

Now that the activation issue seems to have been fixed thanks to the recent beta update, I decided to use IconPacakger again to reskin the cd/dvd drive icons. Whenever I choose any icon package, all the icons change to the new ones except for the cd/dvd drive icons. This was a bug that happened before the beta upgrade as well. When I try to change the icon manually by going to properties, it asks me to reboot the computer when I click apply. I do so however, the icons remain unchanged wh
