I had actually downloaded that before posting. I thought I went through everything in it, but admittedly, was in sort of a hurry, too, due to not having the greatest of time to devote to this. Did I miss the answer to my question in there?
I didn't mean for that to illicit an apology, so [i]I[/i] apologize. ;) For a guy that doesn't like black skins or really bright neon skins, there's not much middle ground. And as much as I remember being excited for Vista's transparency, even once I "upgraded," I still sometimes missed the solid, bold blue of XP.

I'm guessing it can't be done, which I find weird. After all of this time, this seems to be almost a necessity. Element Default is the name of the skin. I'm not finding it here anymore. I appreciate the reply. I hope you didn't read the wrong tone in that. I'm not sure of it's exact age, but it seems to me it would have been made for Vista, not XP, since it's an "XP look-alike."
I'm not on that computer now, but it's an old "Luna" skin. I used it years ago on Vista. "Element," I think is the name. I can verify tonight if it matters exactly.
My apologies if this has been addressed many times before, but none of my search terms are bringing about the proper results. I have an old skin that I like, but the titlebar buttons do not adequately work, so unless I hit them exactly where they register, I'm just sitting there clicking a non-responsive button. I'd like to just remove the skinned buttons and use Windows' defaults. When I get to where I think I need to be in Skin Studio, though, I can see
