So far, niether option (hide combat or GNN reporting) seems to work - will need to re-check. Sadly, the fleet combat animations are pretty important for me to understand ship strength etc (plus they are cool...!)... Renewed plea for 720p! Thanks...
Stardock folks - I am a giant fan, but have a problem - I can only display 720p natively - 1280 x 720 (native HD). [I know offically 768 is the max height.] Believe it or not, the game actually runs pretty well at this resolution - and most of the issues I can work around using keyboard shortcuts etc. (lower portion of screen is off-set by 10-30 pixels, which you can get used to) - save two scenarios which are catastrophic - ~Ship battle animations where the player contr
