I had a lady come up to me in the commissary and ask if she could touch me because she'd never met anyone as lucky as me. Rub the dharma for luck? That's not the usual word in that sentence, is it?

Capi - I think offering a link to a site *that offers information relevent to the current discussion* is just fine. I don't really approve of just pasting a link at the end of each post. I suppose it's alright on some forums, in your sig, but there aren't sigs here, and this isn't just a forum. If people really liked what you were saying, they would go back to your blog page. And on your blog page, you could link to your site. Just my 2 cents.<

I'm in the process of reading them through. Not only do I feel obligated (as the recipient of the previous treatment), but I've enjoyed dharma's post ever since I started reading them. While I would've never come here if it weren't for greywar, my enjoyment of this experience has been significantly augmented by dharma's writing.

Well, it's too bad that you're not in the unit here, then. (Well, for this one reason, anyway. You are, of course, better off anywhere else.) The last tournament I ran, 4 of 5 players were from my unit. In September, it was 4 out of 6, but of the other two, one was a dependent 8yr old kid, and that last one was ex-military. Next month, they are required to play teams with some sort of theme, so the "Mr. Suitcase" players are sharing ideas and figu

I don't know if I've been called names on here. I'm fairly certain I've lost it a time or two, and I'm fairly certain I called someone either @ssh@t or @sscl0wn. Those are pretty standard at work, too. (grey does that a lot on here, as well.) Oh, and, of course, STFU n00b. But that was just Wahine.

I just updated my links section as well, realizing it was overdue (and WAY overdue for dharma). If you two lovely-supporters-of-the-military would prefer a different title to be under (current title: Military Spouse Bloggers), please let me know. edit; Should I have thought better of *my* comments? Is this a family rated blog? Did I step over the line (again)?

This is a post that I wrote for the WizKids official HeroClix Judges-only Forum. I suppose not many of you will care, but I thought it came out alright, so I figured I would post it here. (You could actually apply some of what I go over here in a more general way to any rules set that is in place but not really enforced... hmm. Where's that familiar from? Perhaps

Hey. I *love* MREs. A friend of the family brought some back from Desert Storm, and I would eat them on Boy Scout camping trips. The styrofoam fruit RULED ALL! So disappointed that was removed from the MREs by the time I was in... It's kind of you to thank me. Thank *you* for the comment.

There was that time, in college, where I went with the Army ROTC. I was a sophomore, and had just come over from Navy ROTC due to poor grades. They assigned the Cadet Commander as my battle buddy, which was still intimidating to me, because I was so n00bish. Besides, the guy had been enlisted during Desert Storm, so that

They could always, as chip said, simply 'take care of business.' I don't recommend bragging about it... although I think that would happen in our unit. (And actually did happen in Basic. hmm. Much safer than the alternatives, though.)

No, I'm SURE I saw you there, because I remember grey moving away from our antisocial herd in order to talk to you... or it's a false memory grey inadvertently implanted by relaying a misremembered story to me. I only save text files for some of those types of events, as they take up less space than either pix or vids... (I've only got so much memory to spare, y'know). edit: Hey, Geez is here now

Dude, you can be such a TED. Too bad you weren't blogging before this past year's Language Olym... Competition. I would've actually met you then, instead of seeing you in passing and forgetting you. Ah, well.

Are you retarded? Wait, I just figured out the answer to that on my own.... Have a trolling, assclown. Aaaaaaand... he's back. greywar, ladies and gentlemen.

That's not cool. My husband has shared some interesting anecdotes with me . . . very scary. Isn't there a saying, "What happens in the field, stays in the field?" I don't know. I haven't been to the field. (Well, there was that one time.) [Previous parenthetical deleted to make a blog.] I was reall

Stories of ROTC cadets at Fort Lewis for EIGHT WHOLE WEEKS without sex, copulating in a foxhole on the last night of a 5 day field exercise, less than 3 days before the end of camp, only to be observed through NVGs by their O/Cs... On-Topic: Thanks for the pics. Hope the husband is well.

And for the Love of god I now know why that one guy (no names) in our (current) unit always looked so familiar! (the guy on the right) Would be a dead ringer! Wait, who? Additionally, that picture is what dharma complained about? How is that any better than the one you gave her? You

The reward was the same, and now I don't have to take any classes right now (I missed the sign-up period)... But I still have to take 3 more classes before June, or I have to pay for this POS laptop. You know the one. The one I had in Germany. NOT worth what they would charge me for it...
