Actually, I do intend to re-subscribe to both Object Desktop & WinCustomize... So the WC browser comes with the WC subscription? Excellent. I don't suppose a fully-integrated utility comes with the Object Desktop subscription, does it? I can't tell if Impulse has the ability to browse WC, download skins, and install them the way SD Central did...
So, it's been a couple of years since I last used SD Central or even purchased the Object Desktop suite. I booted it up today so I could browse WinCustomize through its built-in interface, but as it was trying to update its own components, it basically crashed. Several tries yielded the same result. Figuring there must be a newer version available, I check online and it appears to not be made anymore, but seems to be supplanted by something called "Impulse." Okay, no
No matter where I would put the new icon set, I'd still have to set each and every item to use that new icon, I believe. And I'd rather have a new icon set in a different folder anyway just for organization and cleanliness purposes. Any other ideas?
I recently upgraded my copy of ObjectDock to the Plus version and am enjoying it thoroughly. However, I was wondering if there was an easy way to change the icon set from LaST to something else? Tried emailing him two days ago; no response. And it's not just Wallpaper XChange. I think it's all of his software products, because I got the same result when trying to download SysMetrix.

I've noticed that most DesktopX Themes require the use of Wallpaper Xchange in order to change the wallpaper while that theme is active. Fine, I'll be happy to download it. Only... It won't download!! I've tried Firefox and IE from two different physical locations with essentially the same results. Firefox says the connection is refused when trying to DL it; IE goes to the ubiquitous "Page cannot be displayed" or some such message page. I
I've finally been successful in creating a bootskin, for the most part. I am not worried about putting a progress bar in it, just to thave the bootskin image showing for the duration of the boot. But, like a couple of other folks here, the image was shifted to the left when I rebooted and it is always like that every time I reboot.
