Multiplicity Security / Encryption Info in Multiplicity WinCustomize Forums

I'm looking for information as to how Multiplicity communicates between machines. Is there any type of security involved or are keystrokes / clipboards / files sent in plain text? I'm looking at using this within a corporate environment and would be controlling a system where I would be entering administrator passwords, if those passwords are going over the network in plain text then this is not an option.
